If you want a simple 2-ingredient natural cleaner, try baking soda + white vinegar. 😎
✨ How to clean your gas stove top
-
1. Turn off the stove and let it cool completely.
-
2. Remove the grates and burner caps.
-
3. Sprinkle baking soda generously over greasy or stained areas.
-
4. Spray or drizzle white vinegar over the baking soda. Let it fizz and sit for 10–15 minutes.
-
5. Scrub gently with a non-scratch sponge or soft brush.
-
6. Wipe everything clean with a damp microfiber cloth, then dry thoroughly.
-
7. Clean the grates separately using the same mixture if they’re compatible with your stove.
⚠️ Important: Keep vinegar and excess water out of the burner openings and ignition components. Don’t mix this with bleach or commercial cleaners.
For really baked-on grease, let the baking-soda/vinegar paste sit longer rather than using a harsh abrasive.
