If you mean visible signs that can sometimes occur with liver disease, some important ones include:
-
Yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
-
Swelling of the abdomen or legs
-
Easy bruising or bleeding
-
Very itchy skin
-
Dark urine or unusually pale stools
-
Small, spider-like blood vessels on the skin
-
Red palms
-
Unexplained weight loss or muscle loss
Importantly, early liver disease can have no visible signs at all. These findings can also have causes unrelated to the liver, so they don’t by themselves establish a diagnosis.
If you’re asking about a particular visible sign or have a photo, describe it (or upload the image), and I can explain what it may indicate.
