SIGNS THAT YOUR HEART IS NOT RIGHT, PAY ATTENTION

If you’re referring to the headline “Signs That Your Heart Is Not Right,” these are the symptoms that deserve attention. They don’t necessarily mean heart disease, but some require urgent evaluation.

Important warning signs

  • Chest pressure, squeezing, heaviness, or pain, particularly if it spreads to the arm, shoulder, back, neck, or jaw.

  • Shortness of breath, especially with chest discomfort or at rest.

  • Unusual sweating, nausea, or vomiting together with chest symptoms.

  • Dizziness or fainting, particularly if sudden or unexplained.

  • A racing, pounding, or irregular heartbeat accompanied by weakness, dizziness, or breathlessness.

  • Unusual fatigue or a major reduction in exercise tolerance.

  • Swelling of the ankles, feet, or legs, especially when accompanied by breathlessness or rapid weight gain.

🚨 Don’t wait during a possible heart attack

If you develop new chest pressure/pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, or other symptoms that could indicate a heart attack, seek emergency medical care immediately. Heart attacks don’t always produce dramatic chest pain, particularly in some older adults and women.

Persistent symptoms should be evaluated by a healthcare professional rather than diagnosed from a symptom list.
