🥬 Slow Cooker Cabbage & Smoked Sausage

Ingredients
- 1 small head green cabbage, cut into chunks
- 1 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced
- 1½ lb baby potatoes, halved
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, optional
Directions
- Layer the potatoes and onion in the bottom of a 5–6 quart slow cooker.
- Add the chopped cabbage and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and a little salt.
- Add the sliced sausage on top.
- Pour in the chicken broth and dot the top with butter.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for about 4 hours, until the potatoes and cabbage are tender. (Budget Bytes)
- Stir gently, taste, and adjust the seasoning.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot with crusty bread or cornbread.
