You only need 2 natural ingredients! 😎 How to clean a gas stove top so it looks like new

✨ 2-Ingredient Natural Gas Stovetop Cleaner

For everyday grease and food residue, try baking soda + dish soap. If you specifically want only natural pantry ingredients, baking soda + water is safer for many surfaces, though it may require more scrubbing.

The simple method

You’ll need:

3 tablespoons baking soda
A little water
Make a thick paste with the baking soda and water.
Remove the grates and burner caps once they’re completely cool.
Spread the paste over greasy, dirty areas of the stovetop.
Leave it for 10–15 minutes to loosen residue.
Gently scrub with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth.
Wipe thoroughly with a clean damp cloth and dry.
For stubborn, baked-on grease

Let a warm, damp cloth sit over the area for several minutes before applying the paste. This softens the residue without requiring harsh chemicals.

⚠️ Important: Don’t put baking soda paste into burner openings or gas ports. Keep them dry and clear, and follow your stove manufacturer’s cleaning instructions. Avoid abrasive pads that can scratch glass or stainless-steel surfaces.

And don’t mix baking soda with bleach, ammonia, or other cleaning chemicals.

Tip: Cleaning spills soon after the stovetop cools is much easier than trying to remove weeks of baked-on grease.
