1. Rice water (occasionally)
Use plain, unsalted rice-rinsing water without oil or seasonings. It is not a proven orchid fertilizer, and frequent use can encourage microbial growth in the pot.
2. Proper watering
Water when the potting medium is nearly dry, then let all excess water drain. Never leave the roots sitting in water.
3. Bright, indirect light
Give your orchid plenty of filtered light, good airflow, and a suitable orchid potting mix. These basics are more reliable than kitchen remedies.
