Throw raw chicken tenderloins in the glass casserole dish and 4 simple ingredients to get a meal so delicious your whole family will be begging for more.

That sounds like a simple 4-ingredient baked chicken tenderloin recipe. Here’s a reliable version:

🍗 4-Ingredient Baked Chicken Tenderloins

Ingredients

  • 1½–2 lb raw chicken tenderloins
  • ½ cup Italian dressing
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup seasoned breadcrumbs

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Lightly grease a glass casserole dish and arrange the chicken tenderloins in a single layer.
  3. Pour the Italian dressing evenly over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top, followed by the breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 20–25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken.
  6. Check the thickest tenderloin with a food thermometer. Chicken is safely cooked when it reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
  7. Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Easy upgrade: Add a little garlic powder or Italian seasoning if you don’t mind making it a 5-ingredient recipe.

Glass baking dishes can be damaged by sudden temperature changes, so avoid putting a very cold glass dish directly into a hot oven unless the dish is specifically rated for that use.
