Slow-Cooker Ground Beef & Baked Beans

Ingredients
1½ lb (680 g) raw ground beef
2 cans (28 oz/800 g each) baked beans
1 small onion, finely chopped
½ cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Add the beef: Break the raw ground beef into small chunks and place it in the slow cooker. It does not need to be browned first, although browning it beforehand will give the dish a deeper flavor and reduce excess fat.
Add the beans and other ingredients: Pour in the baked beans. Add the chopped onion, barbecue sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Stir: Mix everything gently until well combined.
Slow-cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours, until the beef is completely cooked through.
Break up the beef: About halfway through cooking, stir and break apart any larger pieces of ground beef.
