A simple old-school trick is to use a clean microfiber cloth and a pair of tongs.
Wrap a microfiber cloth around each side of the tongs.
Secure the cloth with rubber bands.
Gently clamp each blind slat between the covered tongs.
Slide from one end to the other to pick up dust.
Shake the cloth outside or rinse it when you’re finished.
The microfiber grabs dust without requiring much scrubbing, and the tongs let you clean both sides of a slat at once.
Tip: For stubborn grime, lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with water and a tiny amount of mild dish soap. Don’t soak wooden blinds—use a barely damp cloth instead.
