How to clean your air fryer

How to Clean Your Air Fryer SafelyCleaning your air fryer regularly helps prevent odors, smoke, and buildup.

  1. Unplug and let it cool completely.
  2. Remove the basket and tray. Wash them with warm water and dish soap using a soft sponge.
  3. For stuck-on grease, soak the removable parts in warm, soapy water for about 10–15 minutes, then gently scrub.
  4. Clean the inside. Wipe the interior with a damp, soapy microfiber cloth or sponge. Avoid pouring water directly inside.
  5. Clean the heating element. Once completely cool, gently wipe it with a slightly damp cloth or soft brush to remove crumbs and grease.
  6. Wipe the outside and control panel with a damp cloth. Don’t spray cleaner directly onto the appliance.
  7. Dry everything thoroughly before putting the basket and tray back.
  8. Clean after every few uses, or more often if you’ve cooked greasy foods.

Avoid: steel wool, abrasive cleaners, immersing the main air-fryer unit in water, or using harsh chemicals unless your manufacturer’s instructions specifically allow them.

If you tell me your air-fryer brand/model, I can also give you the exact cleaning method for it.
