How to make a baking soda grease remover
Ingredients
-
3 tablespoons baking soda
-
1–2 tablespoons water
-
A few drops of dishwashing liquid (optional)
Instructions
-
Mix the baking soda and water into a thick paste.
-
Add a few drops of dish soap for extra grease-cutting power.
-
Spread the paste over the greasy area.
-
Leave it for 5–10 minutes.
-
Wipe gently with a damp sponge, then rinse or wipe clean.
Where can you use it?
-
Stovetops and range hoods
-
Greasy oven trays and pans
-
Kitchen tiles and backsplashes
-
Sink areas and some washable surfaces
Important: Avoid abrasive scrubbing on nonstick coatings, polished aluminum, delicate finishes, and easily scratched glass. Test a small, hidden area first. Baking soda is mildly abrasive, and dish soap generally does more of the actual grease-cutting.
