Apply this 1 solution to your hands and get rid of age spots, sun damage, and crepey skin.

“One solution to erase age spots and crepey skin” — what actually works

Be skeptical of claims that one homemade mixture can erase age spots, sun damage, and crepey skin. Those problems have different causes, and harsh DIY ingredients can actually worsen pigmentation or irritate aging skin.

A safer approach for your hands
Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ every day. Sun protection is the most important step for preventing further sun damage and darkening of age spots.
Moisturize regularly. A fragrance-free cream containing ingredients such as ceramides, glycerin, or hyaluronic acid can improve dryness and make crepey skin look smoother.
For dark spots: Products containing niacinamide, vitamin C, or a retinoid may gradually improve uneven pigmentation. Retinoids can also support skin texture, but they may cause irritation and should be introduced gradually.
For stubborn age spots: A dermatologist can offer treatments such as prescription medications, chemical peels, cryotherapy, or laser treatments depending on the diagnosis.
🚫 Avoid DIY “bleaching” remedies

Don’t put lemon juice, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, toothpaste, or undiluted vinegar on your hands to remove pigmentation. Irritation can cause inflammation and potentially make dark spots worse.

Also, a spot that is new, rapidly changing, irregular, bleeding, crusting, or persistently itching should be examined by a dermatologist rather than treated as an ordinary age spot.

Bottom line: There isn’t a single cream or kitchen ingredient that safely erases sun damage and crepey skin. Daily sunscreen + consistent moisturization + appropriate pigmentation treatment is a much safer, evidence-based strategy.
