⚠️ Melted Slow Cooker? Stop Using It Immediately

If the interior of a slow cooker or its liner has melted, warped, cracked, or been severely damaged, don’t try to scrape it clean and continue cooking.

A few important points:

• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.

• If plastic has melted onto or near the heating element, don’t use the appliance again unless the manufacturer specifically confirms it is safe.

• Don’t attempt to repair or replace parts with improvised materials.

• Never put a plastic bag, ordinary plastic container, or other non-approved liner directly against the heating element.
