“one leaf is worth a gold mine” is almost certainly clickbait. A single ordinary plant leaf doesn’t have a universally recognized medicinal
or financial value comparable to gold.
Sometimes these posts are referring to plants such as aloe vera, bay leaf, moringa, or money plants, and then exaggerating their health, beauty, or commercial benefits.
