Even just one spoonful a day is enough! It lowers bad cholesterol, cleans arteries, regulates blood sugar, and even suppresses hunger.

If you’re referring to a viral claim about a “one-spoon-a-day” food or ingredient, I’d be cautious with those promises. No single spoonful of a food can reliably “clean arteries,” lower cholesterol, regulate blood sugar, and suppress appetite all at once.

Some foods—such as ground flaxseed, chia seeds, or soluble-fiber-rich foods—can contribute to healthier cholesterol and blood-sugar levels when eaten regularly as part of an overall diet. But the effects are generally modest, and they don’t remove existing plaque from arteries.

If you tell me what the one-spoonful ingredient is (for example, olive oil, flaxseed, apple cider vinegar, etc.), I can tell you what the evidence actually says and the safest amount to take.
