The “small round hole” on the nail clipper has special and powerful uses!!

That claim is usually exaggerated. The small round hole on many nail clippers is primarily a hanging/carrying hole—it can be used to attach the clipper to a key ring, chain, or lanyard.

If you’re referring to a different hole in the clipper’s lever or body, its purpose can vary by design and may be part of the pivot/assembly mechanism.

So there isn’t a universally recognized “special and powerful” hidden function. Viral posts sometimes claim the hole can be used for things like opening bottles, removing splinters, or other tricks, but those aren’t the standard purpose of the hole and can be unsafe.

If you upload a photo of your nail clipper and circle the hole, I can tell you exactly what that particular hole is for.
