The brilliant tip for naturally bleaching laundry without using bleach.

A common natural alternative to chlorine bleach is oxygen-based bleaching with hydrogen peroxide. For white laundry, adding 3% hydrogen peroxide to the wash can help brighten fabric and remove some stains without chlorine bleach.

Other gentler options include:

☀️ Sunlight: Drying white cotton items in direct sunlight can naturally brighten them.
🧂 Baking soda: Can help with odors and general washing, though it isn’t a true bleach.
🍋 Lemon juice: Its citric acid can help brighten some washable whites, especially when combined with sunlight.

Important: Never mix hydrogen peroxide with chlorine bleach, vinegar, or other cleaning chemicals. Check the garment-care label first, and test an inconspicuous area if you’re unsure about colorfastness.

If the viral post says “use this one ingredient”, tell me what ingredient it recommends and I can tell you whether the trick actually works.
