THIS burns weeds in 1 day! They NEVER grow again

Claims like “this burns weeds in 1 day and they never grow again” are usually exaggerated. Most weed killers—homemade or commercial—may kill the visible leaves, but many weeds can regrow if their roots or underground parts survive.

A few approaches that work better for long-term weed control:

1. Vinegar-based sprays (for surface burn)

  • Household vinegar can damage weed leaves, especially on sunny days.
  • It works best on young weeds.
  • It usually does not permanently kill deep-rooted weeds.

2. Boiling water (for cracks and pathways)

  • Pouring boiling water directly on weeds in driveways, sidewalks, or gravel areas can kill the plant tissue.
  • It may need repeating for persistent weeds.

3. Mulch and ground cover (best for prevention)

  • A thick layer of mulch blocks sunlight and reduces new weed growth.
  • Keeping soil covered is one of the most effective long-term strategies.

4. Remove the root

  • Pulling weeds when the soil is moist and removing as much of the root system as possible helps prevent regrowth.
