The claim that one herb can “destroy” parasites, urinary/bladder infections, herpes, and flu viruses is not supported by good clinical evidence. These are different infections requiring different treatments.
-
UTIs/bladder infections: Most are bacterial, and some require antibiotics. CDC+1
-
Influenza: Antiviral medicines can be appropriate, particularly when started early in people at higher risk; herbs have not been established as a replacement. CDC+1
-
Herpes: It requires antiviral management when treatment is indicated; an herb has not been shown to eradicate the virus.
-
Parasites: Treatment depends on the specific parasite, so there isn’t a universal herbal treatment.

Cranberry, for example, may modestly help prevent recurrent UTIs in some women, but it does not treat an existing UTI. NCCIH
So if you’ve seen a post claiming a particular herb is a “most potent” cure-all, I’d treat that claim skeptically. Some herbs have interesting laboratory or preliminary findings, but that doesn’t establish that they cure infections in humans. NCCIH
If you tell me the name of the herb being advertised, I can check what the evidence actually says about it and its safety.
