❤️ 7 Signs Your Heart May Be in Trouble
These symptoms don’t automatically mean your heart is in serious danger, but they can be important warning signs—especially when they’re new, severe, or occur together.
Chest pressure or squeezing — discomfort, heaviness, or pain in the center of the chest.
Shortness of breath — particularly during ordinary activities or while resting.
Pain spreading elsewhere — discomfort in the arm, shoulder, back, neck, jaw, or upper abdomen can occur with a heart attack.
Unexplained extreme fatigue — especially if it appears suddenly or is accompanied by other symptoms.
Dizziness or fainting — can sometimes indicate an abnormal heart rhythm or inadequate blood flow.
Fast or irregular heartbeat — particularly when accompanied by chest discomfort, weakness, or breathlessness.
Swelling in the legs or ankles — especially when accompanied by breathlessness or difficulty lying flat, which can occur with heart failure.
🚨 Don’t ignore emergency symptoms
If you have chest pressure/pain, severe shortness of breath, fainting, or symptoms that could indicate a heart attack right now, call your local emergency service immediately.
Heart attacks don’t always look like dramatic chest pain. Women, older adults, and people with diabetes can sometimes have less typical symptoms, so sudden unexplained symptoms deserve attention.
