Oven-Baked Chicken Tenderloins Recipe
Juicy, flavorful, and easy to make in about 20 minutes.
Ingredients
1½ lb (680 g) raw chicken tenderloins
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Season the chicken: Pat the tenderloins dry. Toss them with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Arrange: Place the tenderloins in a single layer, leaving a little space between pieces.
Bake: Cook for approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on thickness.
Check doneness: The thickest piece should reach 165°F (74°C) on an instant-read thermometer.
Rest: Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Easy serving ideas
Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, mashed potatoes, salad, or tucked into wraps and sandwiches.
Tip: Don’t overcook the tenderloins. Once they reach 165°F/74°C, take them out promptly to keep them juicy.
