🥤 What might the “half cup” actually be?
Viral posts often promote things such as beet juice, prune juice, herbal preparations, or other homemade drinks. Some foods and beverages can certainly provide useful nutrients, but that doesn’t mean they can cure multiple diseases.
For example, a nutrient-rich food may contribute to a healthy diet, while diabetes still requires appropriate monitoring and treatment.
🩺 Don’t replace treatment with a viral remedy
If you have diabetes, stopping prescribed medication in favor of a homemade drink can be dangerous. Likewise, persistent bone pain, numbness or burning in the feet, significant weakness, anxiety, or depression deserves proper evaluation.
If you tell me what the “half cup” is supposed to contain (or upload the original post/photo), I can explain what it actually does, whether there’s evidence behind the claim, and whether there are any safety concerns.
