1. Get Up From a Chair

Being able to stand from a chair without using your hands shows useful leg and core strength.

2. Walk Confidently

Walking independently and safely is an important part of maintaining mobility and independence.

3. Climb a Few Steps

Managing stairs safely requires a combination of leg strength, balance, and coordination.

4. Carry Everyday Items

Being able to carry groceries, a small bag, or household items safely reflects useful upper-body strength and grip.

5. Get Up and Down From the Floor

If you can safely get down to the floor and back up, it can indicate good mobility, balance, and lower-body strength.

Remember: These are not medical tests, and everyone has different abilities. Don’t push yourself to perform an activity that feels unsafe.
