A natural remedy for parasites and urinary tract infections

If you’re looking for a natural remedy that treats both parasites and urinary tract infections (UTIs), there isn’t a proven home remedy that reliably cures both.

What you should know
UTIs: Drinking enough water may help you stay hydrated, but it doesn’t eliminate a bacterial UTI. Cranberry products may modestly reduce the risk of recurrent UTIs in some people, but they aren’t a substitute for treatment of an existing infection.
Parasites: Treatment depends entirely on the parasite. Different infections require different medications, and herbal remedies aren’t reliably effective.
Garlic, ginger, apple cider vinegar, oregano oil, or similar “natural cures” aren’t proven substitutes for appropriate treatment and can sometimes cause side effects or interact with medications.
Don’t ignore UTI symptoms

Burning when urinating, frequent/urgent urination, lower abdominal discomfort, or cloudy/bloody urine can indicate a UTI. Fever, chills, vomiting, back/flank pain, or feeling very unwell can indicate a kidney infection and require prompt medical attention.

If you tell me your symptoms and the specific “natural remedy” you’re considering, I can explain whether it has evidence behind it and whether it’s safe.
