Mix cloves with Vaseline : A secret nobody will never tell you. thank me later

If you’re asking about the popular cloves + Vaseline home-remedy claim, there’s no good evidence that mixing the two is a “secret cure” for a wide range of skin or health problems.

What the mixture actually does
Vaseline (petrolatum) forms an occlusive barrier that helps reduce water loss and can protect dry, irritated skin.
Cloves contain compounds such as eugenol. Clove oil can have antimicrobial and numbing properties, but concentrated clove oil can irritate or burn skin and can cause allergic reactions.
Mixing ground cloves into Vaseline doesn’t turn it into a clinically proven treatment for wrinkles, infections, pain, hair growth, or other commonly advertised claims.

If you’re considering using it on your skin, don’t apply concentrated clove oil or clove preparations to broken skin, eyes, or sensitive areas, and patch-test any homemade preparation first.

If you tell me what the recipe claims to treat (for example, wrinkles, joint pain, itching, hair growth, or fungal infection), I can explain whether there is evidence behind that specific claim.
