THIS burns weeds in 1 day! They NEVER grow again

🌿 “This Burns Weeds in 1 Day!” — What Actually Works

If the viral claim is referring to vinegar, there is some truth—but “they never grow again” is false.

Vinegar-based herbicides are contact killers: they can rapidly burn the leaves of small, young weeds. They generally don’t kill established roots, so perennial weeds can grow back.

A safer approach
For small weeds in cracks or paving, hand-pulling, hoeing, or carefully using an appropriately labeled herbicide can work well.
Mulch garden beds to block sunlight and reduce new weeds.
If using a commercial vinegar-based herbicide, follow its label exactly. Strong horticultural vinegar can cause serious skin and eye burns.

Don’t add salt just to make a homemade mixture stronger. Salt can accumulate in soil and damage plants and soil quality.

Bottom line: A weed can look dead within a day after a contact treatment, but that doesn’t mean the roots are dead. For weeds that keep returning, removing the roots and preventing new growth is much more reliable than a “miracle” one-day recipe.
