🍫 Butterfinger Balls

🍫 Butterfinger Balls

These no-bake treats are crunchy, peanut-buttery, and surprisingly easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 cups crushed crispy cornflakes
  • 1½ cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon shortening or coconut oil, optional

Instructions

  1. Make the filling: Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add crunch: Gently fold in the crushed cornflakes until evenly combined.
  3. Shape: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon at a time and roll into small balls.
  4. Chill: Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate chips gently in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each.
  6. Dip: Coat each chilled ball completely in melted chocolate and return it to the tray.
  7. Set: Refrigerate for another 20–30 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.

✨ Tips

  • For an extra Butterfinger-like crunch, don’t crush the cornflakes into powder—leave some small pieces.
  • Add a little flaky sea salt on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Makes: about 20–24 balls.
