🍫 Butterfinger Balls
These no-bake treats are crunchy, peanut-buttery, and surprisingly easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 cups crushed crispy cornflakes
- 1½ cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate
- 1 tablespoon shortening or coconut oil, optional
Instructions
- Make the filling: Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add crunch: Gently fold in the crushed cornflakes until evenly combined.
- Shape: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon at a time and roll into small balls.
- Chill: Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate: Melt the chocolate chips gently in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each.
- Dip: Coat each chilled ball completely in melted chocolate and return it to the tray.
- Set: Refrigerate for another 20–30 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.
✨ Tips
- For an extra Butterfinger-like crunch, don’t crush the cornflakes into powder—leave some small pieces.
- Add a little flaky sea salt on top while the chocolate is still wet.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Makes: about 20–24 balls.
